December 31st!

Happy New Years (eve) everyone! Padmae has invited the jeddi council over for a party. I'm looking forward to this. I just hope nothing happens like the last time we had the Jeddi council over for a party... Our carpet doesn't really need another punch bath, Master Siri...

Yeah. It started out kinda sad...

Okay. I'm now awake enough to tell about how our trip to Owen's went. First of all, I got in deep trouble with Padmae because I tried my fake snake practical joke on Mark as soon as I got in the door. The reason I got in trouble was not because I was doing a practical joke on Mark, but because Mark wasn't allowed to do them anymore because his parents heard (a little bird named Padmae had let it slip) about all the practical jokes he did on me while he was over here. I didn't know about this, but Padmae (who regularly emails Beroo) knew all about it. Females can confuse me sometimes. Padmae expected me to know all about this. Anyway...after my fake snake was absconded, the rest of the trip had a cloud of shame and disappointment hanging over it (at least for me. I think the rest of my family was sorely tempted to dance for joy...including Mark.)

So sorry...

I'm so sorry readers! I haven't written for you in forever. I have just been veerry busy with Christmas preparations and such. I'll tell you all about our trip to my brother Owen's house and all that later. Right now, I have to take a nap...

Life is Busy!

Sorry! I didn't mean to leave you all without a post for so long. I have just been CRAZY busy lately with Christmas shopping and stuff.
Life goes on as normal. Luke had a party with all his space academy friends last night. They had fun and I would have gone to bed if they hadn't been playing the Metal Hits of 2009 all night. Grr and bleah...
Well, I won't be able to write a post after Thursday because we are going over to my brother Owen's house to celebrate Christmas. (I will bring my practical jokes for Mark's benefit!) It's that time of year!

AaahA!

I figured out earlier this morning a great idea for Master Yoduh's christmas present! As many of you readers may have noticed in the movies, his cane was a little decrepit. Well, this store I pass by every time I go to Jeddi Mart is a little place called Canes Unlimited. So, I went in and looked at what they had earlier this morning and they have some nice ones. (The prices are a little high for walking sticks! But maybe I can cut into my fudge budget...) Now, to figure out how to wrap this thing is the hard part...

Jeddi Council Gift Exchange

I'm sorry I haven't written a post in 3 days!  I have been racking my brains to try to figure out what to get Master Yoduh for our Christmas gift exchange.  On Friday, we all wrote our names on pieces of paper and threw them into a hat.  Master Wendu did the honors and pulled out a name and gave it to each person.  If someone got his own name, he was supposed to mention it and Master Wendu would put all the names in the hat again and hand them out again.  Nobody complained so we can assume that either they all got someone else's name, or they knew just what to give themselves.

At any rate, I got Master Yoduh.   We aren't supposed to tell anybody who we got.  So I'm stuck!  I have no idea what to get him.  A hearing aid might be a good idea!  But then, I might get in trouble...

BRILLIANT!!!

MWAHAHAHA! Oops, I didn't mean that to come out sounding that evil.
I am, however, very happy! I managed to get out of the rest of chores. Crunchy is done with the first week. He finished yesterday. And I still hadn't figured out a way to avoid my second week...or third or fourth weeks. But, as I was about to get out my duster and vacuum, I came up with a brilliant plan. As Luke is home from the Space Academy for the Holidays (and being completely unhelpful), I figured I could use him. Do you readers remember how, back in September last year I bought Luke a video game for his birthday? Well, as of yet, I have let him use my xbox for playing it. He is still addicted to the game, so I banned him from my xbox...unless he did my chores for the rest of the month. His face fell when I told him this and I thought he would call my bluff and not do it. But he gave in and signed a contract. Addiction never fails! He did, however, say, "I'll only sign up for one week. We can talk about the weeks after that."
So he signed it. Unfortunately, though, Padmae found out about it and told me off for being such a self-centered father. She couldn't make me do the chores for this week, though, because Luke signed up for them. I felt kinda bad too, so I offered to take them from Luke. But he has accepted this martyr attitude. He said that he signed it, so he HAS to do the chores. Well, that's his choice! On my part, I now only have two more weeks of chores!

Dangerous Business!

Yep. Christmas shopping is deadly! I went shopping yesterday and the stores were PACKED! At Jeddi Mart, trying to get out of the way of one scary woman twice as tall as me, I nearly ran over a little old man with a cane and almost knocked the Miracle Hair Grow kit out of his hand! It's crazy! I did come away with some gifts (but I won't tell you what is contained in their colorful, plastic boxes because my family reads this blog!)
I did, however, buy two things for myself. I know, I know! I'm breaking that age old rule not to buy anything near to Christmas. But the sales on stereos were so good... I couldn't help myself! I needed to buy a new one anyway because Fuzzy destroyed our old one over the weekend. He, for some reason, still thinks that it is a square, fur-less cat! I hold to the strong conviction that poodles are the dumbest dogs ever!
The second thing I bought for myself was a new Jeddi robe. I must be getting slow in my old age. Or maybe that lady was just faster than I was... At any rate, you now know why I needed a new suit! She ran me over.

Brain's Triumph over Poodles yet again!

Crunchy finished up the lights on our roof. They look awesome!!! However, he will not leave our service because I am hiring him to do my chores this week. After that, I'll be broke...and sunk. I will still have to find a way to get out of my chores for the next 3 weeks...

Anyway, I finally had enough of Fuzzy getting in my way, so I came up with a plan that is "humane" yet effective in getting annoying pets out of the room. And I put it into effect yesterday. What I did was go on the web and find a realistic sound effect of an angry cat. I put it onto an audio cd and brought the stereo into our bedroom. When I started working on the ceiling, sure enough, Fuzzy came in to do his daily jog. I used my force powers to push play on the stereo while not moving a muscle. Fuzzy, as usual started getting in my way when suddenly, an obviously humongous cat hissed and growled. (I had accidentally left the stereo on the highest volume because last night I had been listening to our Jammin' Jeddi song) Fuzzy, stopped jogging, looked around, and immediately ran out of the room faster than I have ever been able to run...even with my force powers. The dumb dog thought it was actually a real cat! (Don't tell Padmae what I called her favorite pet...) As of yet, he hasn't done any jogging in our bedroom. I do hear some soft padding in the next room over, though. So I think I can safely assume he is done bothering me, for now!

(Almost) All Goes Well

The repairs on our bedroom ceiling begin today. I read up on this at the library and on the web all afternoon yesterday. I hope I know what I'm doing. I've already done a little bit of work and all goes well. The only problem is that Padmae's poodle, Fuzzy, is running laps around me. She did decide that he was getting too fat, so she put him on an exercise routine. The only problem is (you know how he hates me) he has to run in our bedroom of all the billion rooms in this house! I'm thinking of making an electric fence in the doorway before I get anymore work done. NO! It wouldn't kill Fuzzy... Just turn him into a pom pom and make him think twice before coming to bother me again. The only problem would be explaining it all to Padmae...

Happy All Around!

Crunchy and I have made a deal about the hole he made in our bedroom ceiling.  As he is a handyman, I was going to hire him to repair it, but Padmae had other ideas...  After that hole, she wants him to leave asap!  So, I used my large mental resources and came up with an awesome plan!  I asked Padmae if she would hire me to repair the ceiling.  I'm pretty good at that!  And yes, she JUMPED at the chance!  So, I'm using the money that I will earn from this job and transferring it to the hands of Crunchy.  Now wait. Before you deem me extraordinarily generous, let me finish!  I am hiring Crunchy, with this money, to finish my chores this week!  After that, I will only have THREE weeks of chores to do.  And it would be awesome if I could worm my way out of those too!

Chrrrrrriiiiistmas!

Yep! We are now putting Christmas decorations up around our house. Hon's assistant's (Chewy's) big brother, Crunchy, has started a business as a handyman so we hired him to string up Christmas lights on our roof. For those of you who thought Chewy looked big in the movies, you have no idea how big Crunchy is! He is a mammoth wookie! But, he is very adept at intricate work...like changing out those minute lights. Padmae has now banned me from throwing occasional snacks up to him, however. She says he's too heavy already. (I think it is that big gaping hole he made in our bedroom ceiling that made the difference...)
Anyhoo, I'm getting into the Christmas spirit! I can't wait to start my Christmas shopping. (Now that black Friday is over, I can now go shopping without the prospect of getting killed!) We are really having fun putting Christmas decorations up. Padmae is planning on buying a mechanical Santa to put in our entry to scare any guests that might show up at our house. (At least that's what I think it's for...) I overheard Luke telling her, "Mom, you don't have to buy one! Dad's getting rounder every year! He can dress in his red bathrobe and scare visitors for you!"
Very funny, Luke. I kinda wish you weren't on Christmas vacation!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy thanksgiving everybody! Hope you have fun. I am especially looking forward to the turkey and pumpkin pie! And don't worry, I will try to stay away from the green bean casserole. We are inviting a bunch of friends over for a thanksgiving party. Master Obi-Won is coming and is bringing a camera (I so hope he won't take any incriminating pictures of me with my mouth full of fudge or something like that!)
Anyway, have fun! Gobble gobble that turkey!

I can handle it! (I hope...)

Padmae has started something new (grr)! She decided that I don't have enough to do. Which is wrong! I mean, what with the space pirate issues and Padmae leaving recently, I have been getting a lot of exercise running around working on stuff! But, regardless of this great argument, she continues to insist that I don't do enough. So, guess what she wants me to do? She wants me to do ALL the chores this month. She would wait until Luke is at the space academy and Lea is married! It's not like I will get any help from R2, and See3P0 is far too busy to help me with this... I will have to use my intuition to get out of this one!

The Chubby Dog

Padmae's dog, Fuzzy, is getting fat. I mean, who wouldn't get fat with all of those Chef BoyRDee meals that she gives him. He is truly a pampered pet. I wouldn't be surprised if after she notices that what used to be her dog has become a balloon shaped monster she takes him to the vet and asks, "Now why haven't you told me to put him on a diet earlier???"
One thing that would give me a lot of pleasure would be to see Fuzzy on a treadmill!

Didn't Quite Go As Planned...

I talked to the space pirate CEO on Monday. That didn't quite go as I had planned...
I said to him that he must stop attacking our clone ships. It was cowardly as well as childish. I mean, why couldn't he buy his M&M's at the Sithe Superstore like everybody else? He said that he didn't have enough money and I said, "Give me a break! How come you managed to scrape enough cash to buy that silver plated cigar box???"
Things started getting a little heated now and he pulled his gun on me. I used my force powers to pull out my lightsaber (it doesn't matter how quick on the draw you are...if you have a lightsaber, you always win.) The only problem is, what I pulled out wasn't a lightsaber. It was a twinky that I had bought at Space Trac on the way up and had saved to eat for a celebration snack after my interview with the Space Pirate CEO. Where was my lightsaber? Then I remembered that I had left it in my hotel room on top of the TV. So...I offered him the twinky and asked if we could call it square. He grumble affirmatively and I ran to the elevator as fast as my non-twinky-powered legs could go.
I am now at the Space Train station getting ready to beg for another free ride in the luggage compartment. Here we go again.
I feel that maybe diplomacy isn't my thing. When I get home, Master Wendu will probably tell Master Obi-Won to take care of this (after he finishes chewing me out for wasting that train ticket money!)

I never thought weekends would be painful, but....

Sorry I didn't write a post all weekend...I just couldn't bring myself to write another one in that old luggage compartment.  The weekend went by without anything unusual happening (other than the unusual things you already know.)  I went to the cafeteria 3 times a day and had quite a time getting from car to car.  Also I didn't get any good sleep in the luggage compartment.  The person whose suitcase I borrowed for a pillow had put inside what I have the strong suspicion was an anvil.

I am now at the hotel.  I will enjoy my stay here AMAP (as much as possible) and will try to forget that I have to spend another trip, the trip home, in the luggage compartment.  (My ticket I lost was a two way ticket.)  Today I go to speak to the space pirate CEO.  Let's hope that goes well.

Stingy they are.

I have started my trip and am now in the luggage compartment of the Blamtrak space train, typing this post out on my laaapppttopp. (Sorry, just went over an asteroid.) Why am I in the luggage compartment? Well...it's like this. I successfully bought my ticket on eBay and paid 15 truguts. (I hope you're happy master Wendu) But then, everything went wacko. I was going to the Blamtrak train station on Nabu and a gust of wind went by. It took my ticket and I spent a half hour looking for it. I found several tickets (Walking in White concert ticket, pit droid football ticket, and a Jeddi Mart gift card!) but not mine. I finally found mine but noticed that I had been so caught up in looking for my ticket that I lost track of time. My train had gone! I had to catch the next one, but didn't have a ticket for it so I had to beg to sit in the luggage compartment. Any meals I buy I will have to pay out of pocket for. Man! I wish the Jeddi council wasn't so cheap!

"Turn to the Dark Side (Don't)" Snippet

A special thanks to Lisa Is Cooking for the fudge photo!
http://www.lisaiscooking.blogspot.com

Yoooooooodlee???

Tomorrow, I am going to leave on a business trip to the planet of Yoooooooodlee. Yes, it has 8 "O's." Why? Well, we Jeddi have a campaign there against space pirate companies. The CEO's of these companies refuse to just attack Darth Sideous's ships and insist on attacking our clone ships as well. I'm going to try to persuade them to stop this immature practice. Our clones have not been able to do so, but with a little diplomacy (and a lightsaber blade!) I think I might just change there minds. The only problem is Yoooooooodlee is about a gazillion light-years away (an approximation.) So I have had quite a time looking through the Galactic Yellow Pages to find a Space Liner that goes through that area. I haven't been able to find one yet. So, since all of the Jeddi Starfighters are in use, and the Jeddi council is too cheap to hire me a rental, I am going to have to take the Space Train; the only vehicle that goes out into the outer regions. I hate train rides. Not only are the bumpy, but getting from my car to the cafeteria car while going through space is rather difficult. Bleah. And, as if that wasn't bad enough, our cheap Jeddi council chairman (Master Wendu) has sentenced me to buying the train tickets off of eBay. I mean, I can't even buy them at the station! Swell...

Technical Difficulties

Today, we (Master Wendu's, Master Yoduh's, and my band the Jammin' Jeddi) finished the bass for the Turn to the Dark Side (Don't) song. Master Wendu recorded the drums yesterday, so we didn't need him today. We are doing pretty well. But, I am dreading getting the guitars and vocals for this song done because Master Yoduh probably won't stay focused for too long. Anyway, I'm having trouble finding a photo for the Fudgy Fridge album cover. Anybody know where I can find that? Wedge (Wedgie) promised to do the graphics for me. He's really good at graphics jobs. But I have to find a background picture first.

Soon and very soon...

...I will upload that song! We are getting it done. But, as anyone with any experience with a LGM for a frontman will know, it is rather hard to get anything done. Master Yoduh has ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) really bad. So it happens like this, we barely figure out the drums for the song and then he hears the ice cream truck. He likes the tune, asks us if it would be a good idea for a guitar solo, and then he remembers that the last time he had ice cream was on his vacation to Tatauine for the pod races. So he says, "Got spare change, anyone?"
We all get ice cream, Master Wendu spills his on his bass drum. We clean that up with moist towelettes, and then we get the drums recorded just before Master Yoduh remembers that he forgot that today was garbage day. He leaves to go take it out, and we all go home, dejected, but happy that we got done what we did!

New Album

Well...sorry I haven't written a post in a while.  I have been busy with jogging (and, yes, video games!)  But, I do have some news about our band.  Since we finished our Time to Relax album, we have been taking a break.  But I have, of late, been craving to start our next album.  Anybody got any ideas for the album name?
After we finish this, we will post our album on miTunes.  And if it is popular, we will go on tour.  (That sounds fun!!!)
In fact, in just a few minutes, I am going to the Jeddi temple so that we can work on our first song for this album.  It is titled  Turn to the Dark Side (Don't).  What can I say, Master Yoduh is our singer so we had to rearrange the lyrics to fit his needs.  When we finish this song, I will post a snippet of it here!

What??? Already?

Yesterday, while jogging, I saw, on display in my favorite store (Clone Gift Shop) a CHRISTMAS TREE!!! I am not prepared!!! I haven't even begun thinking about presents for all my family...
I think I'll wait till after Thanksgiving so I can relax peacefully in the wonderful aroma of a cooking turkey without worrying about Santa Clause...
Merry Thanksgiving all!

What a Relief!

Padmae is now back! She got back yesterday, very late. She said her trip had been very successful and the senate had decided that the vehicle fumes were not the pollution problem. They said that our Nubien cows were more trouble for the ozone layer than our vehicles. So, Nabu would have to have a huge burger party and get rid of all our cows. That would be catastrophic, however, for all the mothers whose children are already looking for an excuse to stop drinking milk!
Anyway, she backed me up in my discipline of Fuzzy. For that I am grateful. Now, to jogging and beyond! I have some cholesterol to work off!

The Terrible Two

Sorry I haven't written a post in forever!  I have been working my fingers to the bone trying to take care of everything while Padmae is gone.  Fuzzy and I have formed a truce, however.  I promised not to spank him or be rude to him if he treat me with mutual respect (the only reason I spanked him was because of his disobedience.)  R2De2 has been acting up, though.  He seems to have the firm belief that my toothbrush was made just for oiling his nuts and bolts!  I finally had to give the thing to him after three attempts at running it through the dishwasher.  For those who don't know, oil is impossible to get off of toothbrushes.  See3P0 has been a savior to me!  He has made all the meals, taken Dood out for walks, and all other miscellaneous things that I am unable to do due to Fuzzy's and R2's trouble.  I find myself saying more and more to these two what I said to Luke and Lea when they were 2-year-olds and I was taking care of them while their mother was at the store.  "Just wait till Padmae gets home!"

I Am NOT A Fire Hydrant!

Disgusting!  Gross!  And obviously naughty!  That dog of Padmae's that she left with me while she went to Nabu during this "Global Warming Crisis" is very rude.  I think that Fuzzy is disobeying just for me.  He distains me and now that Padmae is out of the house, he took his opportunity!  First of all, when I took Dood out for a walk, Fuzzy ran out the front door.  I spent 2 hours driving around in my ship trying to find him.  I finally found him, popped him in the passenger seat, and drove off.  He bumped my cappuccino, spilled it all over my new ship carpet, and stained it (the carpet).  I stopped the ship, spanked him, and threw him in the back (I hope Padmae doesn't find out that I spanked her pampered pest!)  I finally got him home, walked Dood, and then came home to find that Fuzzy had knocked over three lamps!  I am so glad I left my laptop in the closet!  Anyway, while I was cleaning up the mess, Fuzzy took that moment to mistake me for a fire hydrant or mailbox or tree sapling or whatever it is that dogs like to make "oopses" on.  By then I had had EEEENOUGH!  I threw Fuzzy into a broom closet (without forgetting to give him one of those spanks he seems to be becoming so fond of.)  Then, I went to my room, changed, and had to burn my Jeddi Robe.  Rats!  That was one of my favorites!  But I don't trust even our washing machine to wash off all of Fuzzy's mess!  That dog and I had better have a man-to-dog talk one of these days...

It's Killing Me!

*Gasp, gasp...gasp!* I just got back from a (prescribed) run around the neighborhood track that they have in our park. I left my charges in the capable hands of See3P0, my butler, until I could get back. I am in need of a coke and a good nap! How come the powerful winds only blow on one side of the track? And it always happens to be the side that I'm running in the direction of the wind! I guess what I'm asking is, "Why doesn't the wind blow and help me run when I get to the other side of the track???" Ugh.

Sorry Guys...

Sorry I haven't written about birthdays and all that jazz lately.  I've celebrated them and given my fam great presents, but what with bowling and this global warming stuff, I haven't remembered to tell you, my faithful readers, about it.  I'm sorry.
Speaking of bowling: last night was our last bowling night.  It was fun.  I got a 180 game (you are as surprised as me!)!  No mishaps this time (and thank goodness!)  This has been a fun class, but I'm glad it's over.  Now my toes can have a break!

Global Warming...Yeah Right!

There are many people on Nabu complaining about Global Warming. They say that our ships are putting out too many exhaust fumes and they are complaining to the Queen and Senator of Nabu to do something about it. She (the queen) thinks that it is all just a bunch of phooey and that all these people are making a big deal about nothing. Granted, we are experiencing a climate change, but who's fault is it? But she asked Padmae (who happens to be the Senator) to go to the Senate and ask them if there is anything in this complaint. I mean, what could the Senate do if Global Warming WAS hurting our poor planet? We can't just stop all the vehicles on Nabu! Anyway, I heard somewhere that it could possibly be a natural cause instead of a cause by humans and aliens. In that case, how could WE help?
However, Padmae still has to go. So, since Luke is gone to the Space Academy every day and Lea is married, guess who gets slapped with the job of taking care of R2De2, See3P0 (our butler), my Wukerfilmydoodle, and Padmae's poodle? Yours truly.

High Cholesterol

The battle against my high cholesterol goes on.  I jogged 6 miles this morning and plan to do 7 the tomorrow (my force powers are out of shape!)  One thing my doctor said I have going for me is the Jammin Jeddi band Master Wendu, Master Yoduh, and I have.  He said that was good exercise.  So we decided to work on our second album.  But what I am dreading right now is another "sugar free night."  Padmae tries so hard to make my desserts sweet without sugar (bless her heart, the kind soul) but I'm afraid it's not the same.  However, on the off chance that she might read this, I will mention that I would prefer to have sugar free dessert than none at all!

You Gotta Be Kidding!

My doctor, Dr. Pimply, surpassed my expectations and said that I had high cholesterol. That stinker! Give me a break! Think about it, the last time I mentioned on my blog that I had something up on the cholesterol chart was back in July. And you know that I won't mention any food I eat unless it is exceptional. So even if I have had too many sugars and fats, I haven't enjoyed them enough! My master is probably overjoyed while reading this. To make matters worse, Dr. Pimply told me that I would have to start my jogging up again! Ugh! This just takes the cake!  Literally...

Dread it like death!

I have to go to the doctor tomorrow. And no! This is not one of the proverbial "walks in the park" with the spinning, flowery umbrella. This is one of those awful things I have to do periodically. I dread it because Dr. Pimply NEVER has anything good to say. I'm always "flabby" or my "eyesight isn't up to par" or I'm still "pigeon toed"... He reminds me of a pessimist I used to know. This pessimist always thought that I complained too much! Ha! That's a laugh! Anyway, if I were a doctor like Dr. Pimply, I wouldn't want any mirrors in my house because I would become a pessimist who constantly finds something wrong with himself. Eh...it's a hard life.

The Deadly Souvenir

Last night was our second-to-last bowling night. I'm going to miss these. They have brought a lot of extra color into my normally dull life (sarcasm.) Anyway, all went well. I didn't turn the Heavenly Lanes Gift Shop into a mountain of shattered glass like last time. And since I wasn't thrown out prematurely this time, I was able to do very well. I actually got a score of 96 last night! No strikes, but who can complain?!
So, since I was feeling so good about it, I decided to buy a souvenir from the gift shop. I bought a humongous, fire-engine red bowling ball. I believe it weighs nigh on to 29 lbs, but that is just my opinion. Anyway, on the way home from Heavenly Lanes, I was unwisely carrying this prize and driving our ship at the same time. (Mr. "Stiff-joints" isn't able to drive) Suddenly, I noticed that the traffic light in front of our ship was yellow and bound to turn red at any moment. I slammed on the brakes and then the bowling ball decided to travel in the direction of my feet. My toes are really sore right now and I am developing what looks like the beginning of the largest bruise in history! I don't think bowling is for me.

It's Been Fun

Well, Mark's parents will pick him up tomorrow at 9:00 AM. This has been fun. I think if we ever get together again, we ought to hold a practical joke party and invite all my funloving friends. (But Padmae might be opposed to it. She says that I was a very bad example while he was here.) Anyway, yesterday we had our last big practical joke battle. I decided that my whoopie cushion wasn't powerful enough a prank for this occasion. So I went to the store to look for the following three supplies so I could make my own practical joke: rope, a hose, and an automatic door opener. Here is what I did; Mark had decided to go with Luke (since Luke is commuting between the Space Academy and our house, he gets to be home on the weekends) to watch a movie. Luke had gone to bring the ship around and Mark was "fixing up his hair." So I had only 5 minutes to set the thing up. I tied the rope across the floor 7 feet from the door. I had already set up the automatic door opener for Mark. Then I went outside and sprayed water all over the dirt in front of our front door. Mark came running down the stairs (he was late) and flew over the rope. The automatic door opener recognized his hairdo flying in its direction at the speed of 130 mph and opened the door out of pure fright. Mark flew headlong out into the muddy area I had just created. He got up, brushed himself off (as well as he could) and walked back inside for a change of clothes. I, laughing, went into the garage to feed Dood for the morning while Luke waited patiently in the ship.
As I opened the garage door, I had the strange sensation of something slimy and disgusting enveloping me. I looked up and saw that Mark (or somebody else. He is my best guess) had set up a bucket of some homemade goo to fall on whomever came into the garage first. That boy really likes goo! Anyway, he has my respect. He was taking quite a chance that Padmae might have gone into the garage before me and that would have definitely ended our fun!

Electrically Charged

Well, everything is hopping over here. Actually, mainly just Mark and I are hopping around due to the recent electric shocks we received from each other. Like I said, I had a baseball cap that gave you a respectably powerful shock when you put it on. Don't worry, it's not fatal. It's not even (too) painful. I have tried it millions of times. I knew that Mark would be wise to me giving him another practical joke out in the open, so I came up with a plan. Mark brought this hat that says "I *heart* Pizza." So I paid some money I got from my raise and got somebody to sew red words that looked exactly like Mark's hat and said the exact same thing. (I had to pay a little extra because I think the lady that was sewing the hat kept getting electric shocks. I guess that ticked her off.) So I took Mark's pizza hat and traded it with my shocker hat. Then, a couple of hours later I said, "Hey Mark! Let's take Dood out for a walk!"
He must have been wary because I normally don't invite him out for walks like that. But he wasn't wary enough to stick a finger in the cap before he put it on. I heard a sharp "YIKES!!!" And then some creature with a pom-pom looking hairdo came down the stairs. On second glance I perceived that he was actually my nephew! I laughed and he said, crabbily, "You can go on your walk alone today, Uncle Ani." Still laughing, I went outside.

Then, an hour later, I came in the door and, having taken a 3 mile walk, was hungry for some kind of snack. So I went to the fridge. Still wary, I checked all doorways for buckets about to dunk me and everywhere I walked, I watched the floor for tripping ropes. Finally, I got to the fridge safely and opened it. Mark had rigged some contraption on it that shocks you when you open the door. I am still recovering. Then Padmae just about died laughing at the supper table when her two pom-poms came downstairs to eat the necessities of life. And I decided in that moment that I need a haircut!

That Boy and His Goo-Gun!

Okay, it's like this. Mark, the boy I was planning on doing practical tricks on has caused a lot of trouble. First off, when he arrived, I held out my gum practical trick thingy. He fell for it, with a "Why thank you Uncle Anikin!" and pulled the piece of gum out of the packet. It pulled the mouse trap contraption and snapped his finger. He hopped around a good bit and then, gritting his teeth, smiled and said, "That was a - pretty good trick - Uncle - Ani..." I smiled benevolently and said that yes it was. But, then this practical joke thing backfired on me. It seems that Mark brought his own set and had already planned on using them on me. For instance, he had this goo-gun that would squirt whoever came across it's laser first. He had it set near my computer because he knew I would be the only one to go in that direction. I, like a bumbling fool, crossed the laser. I happened to hear the gun getting its goo ready so I looked in the direction of the sound, saw the gun, and backed off. The only negative to this brilliant defence method was that the gun missed me and hit my laptop. I had to buy a new one (grr!) But, hey! This one goes a lot faster!

My Bad...

Sorry for neglecting to write a post for so long.  Padmae has been after me day and night (well, actually just day) to do chores so "Mark will feel right at home."
Last night was bowling night (again).  We have 2 more of these classes and then See3P0's joints are officially "loosened up" according to his mechanic.  What I want to know is why can't I be his mechanic?  I mean, I made him and everything.  The mechanic he goes to says I need to take better care of See3 then I have thus far.  (But, come on!  Can't he put WD40 on HIMSELF for a change?  I feel like a dad with a spoiled child...)
Anyway, bowling went great.  I didn't get a strike again, but I probably would have if I hadn't gotten thrown out halfway through our class.  (I found out; those guys at "Heavenly Lanes" don't take to kindly to one accidentally throwing a bowling ball in the direction of their gift shop...)  I hope they'll let me in again next week...

Mark arrives in a couple of hours!!!!  I'm excited!

Mark

This'll be fun!  Beroo and Owen Lars (my step-brother and his wife) are having their 25th anniversary next Tuesday and are celebrating by going on a second honeymoon!  So guess who gets slapped with their son (my nephew) Mark?  ME!  But hey!  I think this will be a blast.  It's not every day that you get to play pranks on your nephew for a WHOLE WEEK!!!  *laughs evilly*...  Whoopee Cushions?  Check!  Gum that snaps you when you grab it?  Check!  Baseball caps that give you electric shocks?  Check!  Here we go!

A RAAAAAISE!!!

Well, I handed in my blueprints for the Awesomely Fantastic Creative Jeddi Starfighter on Monday.  Master Wendu finally got back to me this morning about 30 minutes ago. He said that he LOVED the starfighter (and especially liked the color).  He said we would have to talk about having bean bags for the seats, but he said everything else was great.  He did mention that the radio wasn't necessary, but I disagree.  Anyway, he said that I have a raise now!  So, whoohooooo!  I can now buy more Xbox games!  I think it was the purple paint job that did it...

STEEEERIKE!!! (No, Really.)

I ACTUALLY got a strike in our bowling class last night!!!  Everybody is elated with me.  I have been calling all my fellow Jeddi knights and I intend to have a celebratory dinner tonight with Master Obi-Won, Wedgie, and Luke.  We will probably go out to the Dark Side Diner (no...I'm not disloyal...they just have better burgers than the Lightsaber Cafe!)  Padmae is so happy for me!  See3P0 will probably make me a cake!  Yes...all is well with Anikin Skywriter.  That being said, I don't think I'll ruin it by mentioning that I bowled this infamous strike in the WRONG LANE...

Oh and by the bye, I gave my blueprints to Master Wendu yesterday...  He said he'd have to think about them.

Almost Done

Tomorrow - wait, Monday I am putting the finishing touches on my Amazingly Fantastic Creative Jeddi Starfighter blueprints. I hope these will help me obtain a raise. We'll see what the crabby Jeddi in charge of overseeing the Jeddi Starfighter production (Master Wendu) likes. (But I don't know if he will be a huge fan of my flame job. Maybe I should just paint it purple on the picture. That might work!)

I Was Doomed!

That was RUUUUDE!!!  I had U R Doomed Pest Control over this morning to finish the job of eradicating all the pests in our household.  When he left, the Super Duper Battle Droid left me a bill and said, "I hope you enjoyed our service.  Please check us out on the web at greviouslyannoying.com."
That seemed like a strange website address for a pest control named U R Doomed.  Anyway, I said I might check it out.
Then when he drove off in his ship, I went into my office to finish some blueprints for an Awesomely Fantastic Creative Jeddi Starfighter when I noticed something was rather wrong.  The blueprints were gone!!!  You must understand!  If I finish these blueprints, I stand I huge chance of getting a raise at the Jeddi Temple.  Needless to say, I was worried.  I called Luke on his cell phone (he's commuting to the space academy) and asked him if he knew where they were.  He said no (the helpful child...).  So my next assumption was that U R Doomed Pest Control had accidentally sucked them up with his bugvac (those things are pretty powerful).  So I tracked him down and made him give them back.  Strangely enough, he didn't have to open up his bugvac to get them.  They were sitting in his lap!  However, he didn't give them over without grumbling, "General Grevious is going to kill me!  I was supposed to get those plans to him without delay and..."
And I said, "HOOOOLD on!!!  You work for Grevious?"
"Yes," he said, "Can't you read my uniform?"
It said "U R Doomed Pest Control Employee: Dave."  Finally, I understood.  I told the Super Duper Battle Droid named Dave, "I am so disappointed with your business!  You know why?  It's because of your terrible customer service!"  And then I stalked off to my ship with the blueprints safely under my armpit.
I hope that stung.
Anyway, we got rid of all the pests in our house, at least, most of them...

I'm a Bowling Pro...

No...not really. It's See3P0 who's the really good one! Last night, I couldn't get anything but gutter balls and the occasional "Good Try..." It's embarrassing. Especially when there are all these kids 14 years old and younger bowling like pros! I would quit, but I will continue to do this out of love for See3 (he'd better appreciate it!!! >:-| )

U R Doomed. Thank Heavens!

Well, U R Doomed Pest Control came at 10 am this morning.  The employee that showed up happened to be Super Duper Battle Droid.  (Those guys look good in ties!)  Needless to say, I was a little taken aback.  I normally don't have Super Duper Battle Droids visit me as a regular thing.  I assumed that he must have lost his job as a Super Duper Battle Droid for Count Dukoo and had gotten hired as a pest control guy.  I asked him why he got fired and he kind of looked at me like I was some kind of a nut.  Anyway, I won't complain about the type of pest cleaner I get so long as our house gets rid of its pests!  (I wonder if he'd be willing to take R2-De2?)

Pest Control Please!

Alright, Saturday night and last night went by without any fiascos.  But I am not taking any chances.  I looked through the phonebook this morning and found some pest control services.  Not knowing which to choose I called Master Obi-Won (since he's a bachelor and tends to leave his food in the fridge long after it's gotten old) since he would probably have experience with bugs.  He said he hadn't had any bug problems in a while but on his way to the Jeddi temple one morning he saw a billboard for "U R Doomed Pest Control."  He suggested them because, if they had enough money for a billboard they had to be good.  I thought he was right.  So I called U R Doomed and they said that their next opening would be tomorrow at 10:00 AM.  I said that was fine.  But inside I was (and still am) a raging turmoil.  What if we have another scorpion or rat or...TARAAAANTULA???  Anyway, I'll spray myself up and down with "Off" before I go to bed.

Saturday, September 19, 2009

AAAUUUGH!!!

Tarantulas???  Last night I woke up, yet again, to Padmae screaming.  This time, it was a more alarming cry.  She yelled "AAAAAANIKIN!!!  YOU HAVE A TARAAAANTULA ON YOUR FOREHEAD!!!"  This time, however, I woke up on the first call (the word "taraaaantula" tends to do that to me.)  I got up and was going to go get some spider killer when I met Luke in the hall.  He had apparently heard Padmae and had come to the rescue with his infamous net.  He said, "Let me get that for ya!" and walloped me on the cranium again!  I have another headache.  I just don't know how much more of this I can stand.  We really have a pest problem.  I talked to Padmae about it today, and she said that I could look in the phonebook on Monday to look for pest control companies (tomorrow is a day of rest for everyone.  Yes!  Even pest control guys...)  I just hope we don't have any scorpions, rats, taraaaantulas or anything else like them tonight or tomorrow night.  I don't know how much more of this I can take.  My migraine is paining me...  I think I'll go to bed now.

Friday, September 18, 2009

This just keeps getting worse!

Great! Yes, we had Padmae, Miss "Operatic Wannabe", visit us again last night. But this time Padmae yelled, "ANIKIN!!! YOU HAVE A RAT ON YOUR NOSE!" I don't hate rats overly much, but when one decides to practice his ballet on the tip of my nose, I start getting a little ticked. Thankfully, we didn't go through the whole ordeal that I had to the night before because Luke came in and slapped a net over my face before I could do anything else. He caught the rat, but I have another migrane (Luke has quite an arm!). Pass the Tylenols, please...

Nerve-racking to be sure.

Yikes!  Last night I woke up to the sound of screaming in the vicinity of my left ear.  The screaming was something like "ANIKIN!", this is all in capitals to give you an idea of how loud it was, "ANIKIN!!!  YOU HAVE A SCORPION ON YOUR FOREHEAD!!!"  It would have helped me be a little more calm when I woke up if Padmae had only yelled it once.  But as it is, she had to yell it 6 times (though this was probably to help me wake up...)  After her several screams, I woke up and, having woken up in a shock, didn't think straight.  I'm still not thinking straight because I figured (not too brightly since it was 3 in the morning) that the best way to get rid of a scorpion would be to jump out of bed and slam the forefront of my cranium against the nearest wall.  This worked fine.  Missed the scorpion, but I scared him so much that he sort of staggered out of the room and I believe made his way in the direction of the nearest shock therapist.  I might need one of those guys though, I still have a headache...

STEEEERIKE!

Oh wait, sorry, that's in baseball.  What I should have said was GUTTER BALL!  At least for me...  Last night was See3P0's and my first bowling class.  We are the worst in the class.  At least I am.  To be honest, for all my talk about See3P0's stiff joints, he's better at bowling than I am!  He got a 140 last night.  All I got were 8 gutter balls and a spare (which is when you get half of your pins on your first shot for that turn, and then get the rest of them on your next shot.)
My only qualm about having this class is I come home late when Luke is already in bed.  Tired.  I miss all his stories about college and his new Space Ship Bumper Sticker lab.  (Wonder what that's all about...)  I didn't know that that was a necessary course for learning how to be a pilot!

Thursday, September 10, 2009

BOWLING???

Bowling?  See3P0's mechanic has prescribed some bowling therapy for See3P0 to (and I quote) "loosen up his joints"...
YEAH RIGHT!!!  See3P0 has never HAD loose joints.  Even in his earlier years...
(the days that he did the acting for Star Warz) he was rather stiff jointed.  But, doctor's orders...  We have to obey that mechanic.  (I wonder if the apple thing holds true for droids, I don't think I'll have a chance to try it, 'cause See3 has never been a huge fan of apples anyway.)
Anyhoo, I have finished my bungee jumping class.  So I now have more time to do this (and take ANOTHER CLASS...sheesh!)

Sorry, been busy...

Sorry I haven't written a post in a week or so... I have been having to take See3P0 to the mechanic. He has gotten the terrible disease protocol droids get when they get old: Arthdroidis. And his joints are getting rusty on top of it all! The mechanic prescribed oil, but I don't think it's working. I hate it when people...erm...droids get old! I don't want to lose See3!!!

The Movies

Well, Master Obi-Won and I are going out for another night at the movies.  This time, we're going to see an old film where everybody drives around in cars and they haven't even invented spaceships.  Eh, I like B-Rated movies...somewhat...

College

Well, Monday is the day!  Luke goes off to the Space Academy on the 30th.  I am kind of sad that he is going, but I think this will be a great opportunity for him.  It will be a bit hard for him to keep up his Jeddi stuff while being a Space Academian, but I think this opportunity will be good for him.
BUT I'll MISS HIM!!!

I didn't have any luck deleting their posts.  Obi Won put a lock on them...
Sheesh!

Kanobi Post #6

This is my last post.  I think I wll write the last story about Anikin:
This happened recently.  After Lea's wedding, in fact.  Padmae decided to go to visit her relatives after the party (don't ask me why...women (Padmae in particular) sometimes make impulse decisions that make no sense to me...  Maybe it's just because I'm a guy.)  Anyway, she went and left the two men (Luke and Anikin) in the house alone.  When dinner came rolling around, Luke asked Anikin what he was going to fix, he said, "Well, let's see what's in the fridge..."
They looked and pulled out some containers.  They had a pretty good lunch without having to make anything.  Finally, Anikin said, "Hey Luke, let's get some dessert!"  They looked and looked and finally found something that looked promising.  They pulled out a container and it contained what might have once been banana pudding.  It was fuzzy by then, however.  And Luke thought it looked cute!  He decided to name it Freddie, and Anikin said, "That's cool.  Let's get the hamster cage I got at that hanger sale once and we can put him in it!"  So they kept "Freddie" and it was great for them, because they didn't have to feed him at all.  When Padmae got back 3 days later, she made them throw Freddie away.  Anikin was sad.  And he quoted to me later, "But the memory of Freddie will live on in our hearts..."

Kanobi Post #5

This is Ki Adi Mundee's post:

KI ADI MUNDEE: I have a story about Anikin when he first became old enough to drive a Jeddi Starfighter.  He had rather enjoyed his flight in a nabu fighter when he was 8 years old and it was still fresh in his memory.  Actually, he thought that those fighters were the types of ships that we Jeddi had.  When he saw the Jeddi Starfighters that we had and still have, he called them "clunkers" and lots of names like that.  We had a secret meeting and Master Wendu went out that night and purchased a 1967 starfighter and brought it back.  The next morning, we told Anikin that he didn't need to bother about driving one of our "clunkers" that we had another ship for him to drive.  He beamed, but when we took him to the garage and he saw the definition of a clunker that Master Wendu had purchase, he said, "Oh, uh....that's quite alright....I think I'm getting excited about driving a Jeddi starfighter...in fact I LOOOVE Jeddi starfighters.....you can just return this....thanks all the same..."
We racked up another victory in the Jeddi vs. Bad attitudes battle.

OBI-WON: I remember this happening.  The real clunker that we bought was missing one of its engines and didn't even have a deflector shield...

KI ADI MUNDEE: Yes, compared to that ship, a Jeddi starfighter looks like a real beauty.

OBI-WON: I rather think Jeddi Starfighters are classy.  But that's my opinion...

Kanobi Post #4

Sorry, I forgot to write a post yesterday (my mother needed me to do some shopping for her...)

Tomorrow I will get Ki Adi Mundee to write a post for me.  Right now, I have to go pacify Anikin (Luke just showed him one of my posts...)
Oh dear......

Kanobi Post #3

This is master Yoduh's turn:

YODUH: Written a post I haven't ever since hacked on to Anikin's blog I did in 2008 May of. Fun that was. Promised, I did, however, to hack on to it no more. But, Obi Won did the hacking this time!
Do as Wendu did, tell a story about Anikin I will: When 12 years old he was, taught Anikin the powers of static electricity Obi Won did. Got so powerful using the force in a combination with this electricity he did, that he could surprise any Jeddi by giving him a powerful ZAP in the rear. Considering banning this power, we were, when got a complaint from Count Dukoo we did that Anikin wasn't fighting fair. Complained he did that Anikin was zapping all his droids with static electricity. (Banned Count Dukoo had been from using lightning a long time ago. Not powerful enough we were to ban Darth Sideous, but happy we were with what we had accomplished...) Decided we did that it wasn't fair, so banned Anikin we did. We still blame him whenever we have rubbed our hands on our coats too much and we get zapped.

OBI WON: When was this? I don't remember this...

YODUH: On vacation to Tahiti you were.

OBI WON: That's right. I remember you mentioning something about static electricity when I got back.

Kanobi Post #2

Well, Master Wendu and Master Yoduh both said they would be honored to write posts for Anikin's blog. It's Master Wendu's turn...:

WENDU: Yeah, I have a story about when Anikin traded his black Jeddi boots for some yellow rubber one's and wore them to a Jeddi council. They were so popular that everyone in the council except master Yoduh, Obi Won, and myself traded for their own set. Then everyone in the Jeddi temple did the same. (The Jeddi in the outer regions didn't get the memo until the fad was over...)
Finally, the Jeddi boot company that we had supported for 50 years asked us if we were boycotting them. Out went the yellow rubber boots...

OBI WON: Is this an old story?

WENDU: No, this happened several weeks ago...

OBI WON: Oh, that's right...

Kanobi Post #1

Well, this is my first post.  I love having this opportunity!  Sure, I could create my own blog, but it makes it more fun if I can write about Anikin on his blog!  I have a secret to tell you all, later today, Master Wendu, Master Yoduh, and I are having a meeting and I am going to tell them that they can email me posts that they want on Anikin's blog and I can upload them.  This is too great an opportunity to enjoy all by myself!
Well, I don't have much to say right now except that Anikin needs more exercise.   Who's with me?

Grounded...Again......

ANIKIN: I am writing this post through my mentor [Master] Obi Won Kanobi.  I am grounded yet again.  It seems Padmae was upset a little that I didn't tell her about me bringing my aunt for a surprise visit.  The worst part of it was that my aunt took her side!!!  That really stinks.  Anyway, I have given my master the password to my blogger account.  I just hope he won't cause too much trouble while I'm gone.

OBI-WON: I will be giving daily posts on my life and my point of view on Anikin's life.  Hope you all enjoy a week in Obi Won's life!

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

Ummm...We'll see how THIS one works out...

Well, I'm leaving my aunt's house right now. She seems excited. I haven't told Padmae that I have another (rather large) passenger aboard my ship, so I hope there won't be a blowout. I guess I could have told Padmae, but I think this surprise will be better. Cross your fingers...

Monday, August 10, 2009

Whoohooo!

YEEEEESSS!  That was awesome!  I just got back to my Aunt's cottage on Hothe and am writing a post (could you tell?).  I just snowboarded the Death Basin for the 13th time!  It is awesome (especially in the early morning).  I was going to come back home in a couple of days, but Aunty had a change of plans.  I am leaving then, but she's coming with me.  That will be fun for her to visit us...  (I just hope Padmae won't be too surprised...)

Snowboarding

I cannot wait!  Tomorrow, I am leaving for hothe.  I have a distant aunt on hothe.  she hasn't seen "little" Ani in forever.  She is dying to see my lightsaber and Jeddi I.D.  She also said that she snowboards on rare occasion, namely when her quilting club gets it into their heads that they want to go snowboarding.  They are all ladies 80 years old and up.  And every single one of them is rather round (including my aunt...which makes it a good thing she doesn't read this blog)...  But if you have ever spun a grape around the inside of a white bowl, you can imagine how it looks when they snowboard in Death Basin (a favorite snowboarding spot for the brave!)  But she said I was welcome to use her snowboard if I so wished.  Death Basin, here I come!!!

3 weeks...

Oh dear! Luke is leaving for the Space academy in 3 weeks! Lea and Hon have started their new life together, and See3P0 is starting a new restaurant. I only have R2. And goodness knows he's not very helpful! Life is going to be very quiet around here pretty soon. (Thank goodness I'm still here!)

Let Me Explain

I haven't written posts for a while because...well, let me explain. Monday, the council held a meeting at the jeddi temple. I wasn't behaving like one of my status should have and I was upset at master Wendu. He said that I was too immature and shouldn't have been made a jeddi Knight. I got mad at him and popped some stickle burs into his seat. When he sat down he shot skyward about 12 feet and his first words were ANIKIN!!! Thusly, I got taken off of my blog again and had to wash his speeder for several days...

That Stinks!

Well, let me catch everybody up on what has been happening lately.  Master Wendu finished his script and we scrapped that one too.  He was too focused on his complaints about Jeddi council and how we hate to meet on Saturdays and all that junk.  He was so focused on making his point that there was hardly any story.  Guess who the load of writing a script fell on next?  Yours truly.  I finally finished it on Saturday when Master Wendu called me up and said that they decided a movie would be too hard to do.  Sheesh!  I had a great script about this Jeddi who dies and ends up at the Jeddi beach in the sky.  A sort of paradise where you get all the fudge you can eat!

Bungee jumping went well.  Nothing much to report...

Several Failing Scripts

Well, the Jeddi have started on their new movie.  At least, we have started figuring out what the story will be.  Master Yoduh wrote the first version (which was scrapped because he wanted to write it all about greed Jeddi with big ears that always speak backwards).  Master Obi-Won wrote the next try, but his story was based on true life.  It was about a Jeddi who never listened to his master and always ate fudge when not supposed to.  He never exercised and always thought of himself.  (Thank goodness Master Obi-Won did not mention any of my ballet...)  Master Wendu is in the process of writing his version.  Let's hope it turns out better!

Ummm... Can I be the Cameraman?

The Jeddi temple finally found out what we are going to do to bring in more income. Master Wendu emailed me last night and told me that he had called all the other Jeddi to see what they thought of his idea. I said, "What idea?!!!"
He said, "We are thinking of making and EPIC FILM!"
Now, of course, I was blown away. I don't want to be in a movie due to my previous problems involved in the Star Warz and The Clone Warz movies. I asked if I could be the cameraman. He said, "We'll have to see about that... You are such a good actor, we might need you in the movie."
(NOW he brings up my qualities...)

Last Night's Bungee Jumping Class

Nothing much to report. I broke my bungee cord again. (I'm running out of duct tape...) My teacher said to lay off on the cookies, but I just can't help myself. (He is threatening to stop bringing them for snack time. In fact, stop snack time totally. I think the other class members might just kill me if that happens. So I might have to "lay off on the cookies"...) Oh well, I guess I can just smuggle some home under my Jeddi robe...

Neato!

Guess what? I just got a GPS!!! I have been saving and saving for it ever since I was promoted to a Jeddi knight (the income ups in the jump from Padiwan to Knight). I LOOOVE IT! I use it all the time. Padmae says, however, that I needn't use it when I am just going down the street to visit someone. I don't agree with that, though. But I may have to agree because my gas prices are shooting space high (it's more fun to use a GPS in the ship...)

This is Something New!

Luke is leaving for the Space Academy in August and I am setting up his college courses for this next year.  This is a new thing because Lea went straight from becoming an adult to becoming a wife!  She never went to college.  So I am learning a lot of new stuff about colleges these days.  I am enjoying it.  (I just hope Luke doesn't learn any new piloting tricks at the NSA (Nabu Space Academy) and then come home and show off!)

WE NEED MORE INCOME!

Since summer started, the Jeddi council hasn't gotten much chance to have a council meeting. Last night we had one. We -- what? NOO, we did not have it on anyTHING in particular, but rather just sat around and ate cookies (chocolate supplied by the Skywriter clan). But we did decide to start a business (the Jeddi Mart is not thriving like it used to). Any ideas?

I'm not FAT!

Sorry I haven't written a post in the last few days.  Padmae has recently taken me off of the computer.  She said I was getting addicted to my blog.  (Don't worry!  She let me back on today!)

Last night was my bungee jumping class.  My teacher, Mr. Bounceable said that maybe I should go into something else, like sumo wrestling.  (But I think, thank goodness, that he was being sarcastic...)

The 4th (2009)

Sorry I haven't written a post in a while.  I have had a lot of important Jeddi work to do (namely, repainting the council room in the Jeddi Temple).  Last night we celebrated the 4th of July which is the anniversary of the liberation of Nabu from Darth Plagas.  We shot off a bunch of fireworks and had a blast (pun intended).  I lighted (or attempted to light) a firework with my lightsaber (that one was 20 truguts down the drain).  But otherwise it was a really fun night.

My first Bungee class!

Last night was my first bungee jumping class! I didn't break anything (like I did in my first ballet class...) but the teacher said I needed to get some REAL bungee jumping equipment. What?! I don't understand what's wrong with suspenders...

Master Wednu's Birthday 2009

Well, his birthday on the 28th went well. I finally came up with an idea for his present at 11:00 PM and went out to Jeddi Mart to buy it. (Thank goodness they're open 24/7!) And I gave it to him on Sunday. I think he will enjoy it. Padmae isn't so sure, though. After I bought it she said, "Well, that's sweet of you Ani, but I don't know if Master Wendu would be interested in a Style Your Favorite Barbie video game..."
But I was out of options! It was all they had left!

BUNGEE JUMPING!!!

Well, I have finally signed up for a bungee jumping class. I think this is more helpful to my Jeddi techniques than ballet. (Maybe not...) But anyway, on another note, Master Wendu's birthday is tomorrow and I have not yet figured out a birthday present for him! (I completely forgot...)

Ahhhhhhh, better.

I am better now.  I'm not too busy at the moment as Lea's wedding is finished and See3P0's diner is kicking off.  So (are you ready for this?) I am planning on taking a BUNGEE JUMPING CLASS!!!  It sounds like fun.  When I asked Padmae she just shook her head and said, "We'll see."  (That always means yes!)

AAAAAACHOO!

Great Bumbling Bumblebees!  I am really down in the dumps!  I have the worst cold this side of Tattooine.  *AAAACHOO*  Ugh!  I think I got it when I was fighting that bounty hunter in the coooooold weather on Lea's wedding day.  I'm tired of this.  But I'm thinking of taking stock in the Kleenex company...

Lea's Wedding

Yesterday was Lea's wedding.  It went well.  But I was delayed, however by a bounty hunter.  Padmae, Luke, and Lea had gone early in the family ship and I was to come later.  As I got into my ship, I was met by the barrel of a blaster.  Of course, I sliced his gun with my lightsaber, knocked the dude out, and threw him in our broom closet.  Then I got into the ship and made it to the wedding without (thank goodness) a speeding ticket.  I made it to the wedding okay, but my tie was messed up and my hair.....well, we won't go there.  But I gave Lea away and everything.  After the wedding, Lea whispered into my ear, "Dad, were you detained by a...erm....bounty hunter?"
It turned out that she hired him because she was afraid that I would embarrass her at her wedding.  Of course, she apologized and all was forgiven.  (But when all was said and done, I think I was the more embarrassed party...)

The 18th

Not tomorrow but the next day is Lea's wedding!  The Jammin' Jeddi have worked out all the music and the catering service (Wedgie's Potato Wedge's and Such) has agreed to help us for a modest fee.  And since all our relatives are coming, we have hired a maid service for the week!  Life is crazy, but hey!  I have to admit, it's more interesting this way.

It's Coming!

Sorry I haven't written a post for a while.  Lea's wedding plans have taken up a lot of my time.  The only reason I can write a post today is because it is Sunday (a day of rest).

But, speaking of Lea's wedding, IT'S COMING!  I'm completely freaked out.  Luke seems more like the bachelor type, and even if he does get married, I won't have to "give the groom away".  But I do have to "give the bride away" in this wedding.  I just hope I won't do anything weird like cry and then pull out a polka dotted handkerchief that I accidentally put in my pocket (I've dreamed about doing this for the past 4 nights...)

Ballet?

I considered (for only a second, mind you!) doing ballet this year. It was fun last year (even though I broke the ballancing pole thingy and had to wear a tiara to the recital), but no. My life is tooooooo busy this year. I'm thinking of going into something a little more fun...like...I don't know.....BREAKDANCING!

Sorry...Forgot!

Sorry, I forgot to tell you!  We had a great mothers day for Padmae on...well, mother's day!  I bought her a new watering can for her garden (R2 broke the last one).  You're probably thinking that's not a big present!  But I bought her a solid gold one!  (The only problem is that she will probably do something silly like keep it up on the mantle instead of actually use it for her plants...)

Practical Joke

What!?  The time that Master Wendu sent me to all those planets to check out the lightsaber prices, he had already looked at the catalogs.  They were just tired of my bad attitude and wanted me out of there for a while.  Man!  I am appalled!  (But I've had my stomachfull of lawsuits recently and don't want another one.  So I'll just make them apologize...maybe...)

Back to Normal Maybe?

See3P0 and I chatted today before our court session and we worked out our differences. I do seem to remember R2 telling me something about See3 wanting some pay, but that was the time when I was overwrought about my ballet class and it must have slipped my mind. I also apologized to See3 that I had expected too much of him. I suggested I make a new butler but he said he was sorry about the hubbub and wanted to continue the work at my house (with pay this time). Padmae agreed to pay him and I'm going to put up a website for his restaurant. He will have a grand opening soon, but he needs to come up with a name for the restaurant first! Padmae will bring fudge. (I suggested that he have those video games that they sometimes have in fast food restaurants, but he said his is going to be a gourmet restaurant.)

Thursday, June 4, 2009

Okay, maybe it's not soooo bad...

Life isn't too bad. Padmae is on my side in See3P0's lawsuit. She agrees that See3 never spoke to either her or me about the payment issue. She does admit, however, that I should have sent him on more vacations. She's right. I'll talk to See3 about it before the next court session. (What do you mean that you don't think I'll be humble enough to apologize?)

Wednesday, June 3, 2009

Good Grief! And Good Grief Again!

My butler is suing me!  He said that because I never pay him, he deserves all that pay.  I wish he had told me about this issue, but ooooooh no.  He has to tell me in court!  ( >:( )  Anyway, he never mentioned all the VACATIONS I send him on.  I am ticked.  WHERE'S MY LAWYER?!!!

Quick Post

I don't have much time for a post today.  I am on my way to buy Lea's wedding present.  (I can't tell you what it is because my daughter every now and again takes a fancy to reading my blog)  I can tell you this though, I way prefer this to house cleaning!

Pleased? Not a chance!

I went to the Sithe Superstore yesterday and bought a tie and a suit for Lea's wedding. I thought they looked nice. I especially liked the suit! But when I got home, you know what Padmae said? She said, "Anikin! When I said a suit, I meant something nice not a suit with blue and white stripes."
I said, "Well I thought it looked nice -"
"And what's this? Your tie has SMILEY FACES?!"
"Well...yeah," I said, "I like smiley faces."
So, Padmae went back to the Sithe Superstore and returned them and then went to Jeddi Mart to buy a new set. She said she is boycotting the Sithe Superstore because they promote Sithes (After she told me that, I don't think she liked my sarcastic reply of "Really?"). Anyway, she replaced the suit with a black one and a plain blue tie (WHAT?). I think I would have done a way better job if given the chance...er, I mean a second chance...

Saturday, May 30, 2009

Well I Never!

Padmae just - grrrrr! - you know what Padmae wants me to do? - Auuuuugh! She wants me to go to the Sithe Superstore (or the Jeddi Mart) and pick up a nice (really nice mind you) tie and suit jacket. Money is not an issue, so I don't have to go onto Ki-Adi-mundeBay to find a good deal, but still, I cannot believe she expects me to wear a SUIT to Lea's wedding. It's ridiculous!

Graduations...Weddings...Rock Band Meetings...Oh My!

I am going nuts with all of this hubbub that Lea's wedding, Luke's graduation at the end of June, and my -- um, Master Yoduh's, Master Wendu's and my rock band has caused. I am in a frenzy trying to bake some cookies Padmae told me to put in the oven before she got home (she went shopping) and she is almost here! (It's not my fault my xbox was calling me to play it so pleadingly.) Anyway, this wedding will be the death of me. (Which is good, because then I won't be around for the stressful graduation! :/)

Catch up

Let me tell you all that has been happening lately.  First of all, I picked out my glasses.  Thanks readers for your suggestions.  I picked the silver ones.  (Who had the audacity to vote for the ones with purple rims???)  I also had my root cana - oh, excuse me, filling.  That wasn't fun.  And the wedding plans go on for the Skywriter/Solo wedding.  The Jammin' Jeddi are going to play at the reception and I will give away the bride (fat chance!).  We are running out of people for flower girl.  (Don't even suggest Asoka.  That crabby girl would have a lightsaber at my throat in a heartbeat if I even suggested that!)  See3p0 is not much help with the planning, he is starting his own restaurant (?).  I suggested he call it The Shiny Droid but he said he didn't care for that idea.

Ahh...I'm Back...

My friends...I am back!  What happened that kept me from writing posts for a whole 6 to 7 weeks?  Well, it was like this.  Master Wendu found some Jeddi homework of mine that I hadn't done that had been sitting in my closet ever since I became a knight and did not have to do it anymore.  He got mad, Master Obi-Won got mad, and Padmae...well, she took me off the computer until I finished it.  It took forever.  I finally finished Tuesday night - late.  Well, I celebrated the 1 year anniversary of my blog several days ago.  Sorry I couldn't notify you.
Well, I'm back now.  Hope everything is fine with my readers...

Spring Cleaning 2009

I may not be able to write posts for a while.  After all, I am now a Jeddi knight and I have important work to do.  (And...Padmae wants to start spring cleaning.)  Our last spring cleaning was in September (?), but she wants to be on time this year.

Wednesday, April 8, 2009

Oh Man!

I went to my dentist yesterday and he said I have to have a ROOT CANAL!!! (Nah, just kidding! I have to have a filling, but I'm dreading it like a root canal!) With that piercing needle that makes you talk like an idiot and all the drilling that shakes me up so much my hair looks like cotton candy on a windy day (I need a buzz cut). Why do I get cavities? I don't know, but Dr. Andrews said it is because I need to brush EVERY day instead of every couple of days. Hmmmm. May be good advice......

Dangerous Dentist

I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead...
Not only that, but I have a dentist appointment today!  I am waaaay overdue because I had to cancel my last one in September for a family night.  Dr. Andrews is getting crabby now.  (I just hope I don't have any cavities!  That would not improve his emotions!)
Sorry I haven't written any posts recently, I was working on my own recipe for chocolate cake...

APRIL FOOLS!!!

I hate April fools day.  I used to love it...until yesterday.  I had a great April fools thing to do: I was going to tell Padmae that her plants were dying.  APRIL FOOLS!  But when I told master Yoduh about my plan, he said, "April fools day it is not.  April fools day April 2nd it is."  And I believed him!  Padmae was never fooled and I just got mad at Master Yoduh.  (I'll bet he's going to yell April FOOLS! today)  Now I am asking myself two questions: Why do I always believe everyone? and Who came up with that dumb holiday?

I have a month...

I have a month to pick out my glasses. Thus, I have a poll on my page so YOU can tell me which ones I should pick. I hope not to have to wear them too often, but, since the doctor said I am nearsighted, I may need to. This is disgusting! I do not want to wear glasses! (They're bad for my image...)

Don't want 'em, Don't need 'em...

I went to my doctor for a checkup yesterday and you wouldn't believe what he said!  He said I needed glasses!  I have not needed glasses for MY WHOLE LIFE!!!  I don't think I need them.  I told Padmae this and she told me, "Let's go out for a drive."
I raised an eyebrow, but I got the speeder in gear and Padmae came out.  She got in and we went off.  After we got home she said, "You really do need glasses!  You ran into a total of 3 mailboxes and almost hit 7 speeders!"
Good grief!  She's keeping count?!  But anyway, I guess my doctor won't stand any back-talk.  So, I guess I'd better start looking at different styles to find out which ones are my favorite...

Checkup

I am supposed to go to the doctor today for a checkup. Nooo, it's not because of my incident on Friday, it's just because I haven't gone to one in forever. Anyway, I'm glad my bruises have pretty much healed!

I feel like a rainbow

I am black, blue, purple (and a little green) due to my skateboarding attempt yesterday down Splits Hill. Padmae took away my skateboard for a week, but I don't mind. I've got video games! Master Yoduh made it all the way down the hill and then hopped back up to ask me why I still had my face in the concrete. Sheesh! I need more force powers...

Skateboarding Buddies

Today I have a break from my normal work (Jeddi Knight stuff) to go skateboarding with Master Yoduh and FINALLY get to use my skateboard that he gave me on my birthday. Sure I've used it several times, but this time I am going to have a skateboard race with him down the biggest hill in our neighborhood: Splits Hill! I have been waiting to do this hill because I wanted to save it for Master Yoduh -- (...and because I was a little afraid of going down the STEEPEST HILL ON NABU!!!) Here I go... If no more posts show up on this blog, you will know what happened...

He Needs a Break!

I sent my butler (See3) on a trip today.  I need him to go to Tatouine for food for my pet.  I know this doesn't count as a "vacation", but hey -- he needs a break!  I told him he could stay as long as he wanted.  Anyway I figure I can't lose because; my butler gets a couple of months off and Dood gets food.  Being a Jeddi gives one so many brilliant ideas...

No Complaints Here!

The Jeddi recently started this "Acts of 'Jeddi'ness Food Drive" to give food to all the people who don't get meat that often.  Well, I was mowing the lawn yesterday and they came up and gave me a box of meat!  I guess it was because they felt sorry for me because Padmae has been forcing me to eat those greens from her garden.  The good thing is that Padmae won't make me give it up because it was a gift.  Don't get me wrong; Padmae lets me have meat every once in a while (and her veggies are not that bad!)
Anyway, I guess I will go fix some brisket for lunch (I wonder if carrots would go well with that...)

The Mowing Season

Well this is just great!  The mowing season has started back up again.  So Padmae wants me to mow the lawn.  TODAY!  I just finished my mission to the death star!  I really, really want a break.  Anyway, the Food Drive at the Jeddi temple starts today, so I hope to help out when I finish mowing.  (But they will probably have already started).  Thank goodness I have a riding lawnmower!

Acts of "Jeddi"ness Food Drive

The Jeddi are starting this thing that they call the "Acts of 'Jeddi'ness food drive".  They are bringing meat to people in the galaxy who can't afford meat very often.  I think it is a great idea.  I am going to contribute (especially since Padmae is not cooking that much meat since she started her huge greens thing...)

Diner Wars

Well, I'm back! I just got back from my "secret" mission (which isn't so secret since I posted it on my blog). But anyway, I figured out that people prefer the Dark Side Diner to the Lightsaber Cafe because of the Dark Side Diner's Super Burger. But don't worry! We will come up with something to combat that! (Maybe Triple-sized Chicken Wings...) Well, I gotta go get out of this hot tie fighter pilot suit (why do they have to be black???)

Monday, March 16, 2009

Secret Mission

The Jeddi council decided that since I had a short rest yesterday from all my missions, I should have a new mission.  This one, however, is a secret mission.  I am to go into the death star in a tie fighter that we stole (dressed up as a tie fighter pilot, of course) and figure out what is new at the death star that makes customers want to go to the Dark Side Diner more than The Lightsaber Cafe.  I won't be able to make posts unless I can sneak into Sideous's room and hack onto his computer.  So, TTFN!

A Job Well Done!

I finally finished my bush hogging job Padmae gave me.  The yard looks great.  Padmae is now ready to plant an even bigger garden.  Good grapevines!  I hope she doesn't want me to share what she harvests!

Friday, March 13, 2009

I have a ton of Jobs!

My bush hogging job continues today.  Because of my mission given me by the Jeddi Council (because I am now a Jeddi Knight) and the rescue operation for See3P0, I have not had a chance to continue it.  I begged 10 minutes to write a post for my blog, but Padmae said that RIGHT after that, I must get to work on my job.  Bye...

Ballet Becomes Even More Useful

Yesterday, I saved See3P0 from Grievous. Grievous said that he wanted See3 so he could have a college reunion, but I told him that See3 was a respectable personage that would not want to meet all the friends that would probably be all the wildest people from the college that he and Grievous went to. Of course, Grievous wanted to fight it out. I told him I had no time, that I had some bush-hogging to do. But he insisted. So I used some of my ballet tricks that I used on Count Dukoo last year. He didn't get dizzy (like the Count) but he thought they were so funny that he laughed so hard that he fainted (I didn't know robots could breath). Anyway, I picked him up and threw him down a garbage chute and we flew away in my Starfighter. But before we left, I made sure I went by the Darkside Diner's drivethrough window and picked up a burger (the best!). All in all, we had a fun day. (I wonder how long it will take those Storm Troopers to find Grievous...)

College Buddy Gone Bad

I am in my ship.  After I told the Jeddi council the results of my latest mission,  I came back home planning to do the job Padmae gave me first.  But then I heard Star Wars music and remembered that that was my ringtone for my cell.  So I picked it up and got this message from See3 babbling on about me needing to save him and all that.  So that is why I am in my Jeddi Starfighter on my way to save my awesome butler.  Poor guy.  See3P0 told me that in droid college, Grievous was the one who always threw all the parties and got into all kinds of trouble.  I guess he just never learned how to behave...

What to do when your butler acts...well, not that bright.....

I got back home on Sunday.  After finishing my mission given to me by the Jeddi council, I thought I only had one more job (namely, the bush-hogging deal).  Unfortunately, by butler has gone and gotten himself captured by an old college buddy gone bad.  How and why he did this, I do not know.  But I will have to go and help him out I guess.  (But, hey!   The Dark Side Diner does not have veggies!)
